RIDING PRACTICES RIDE LEADERSHIP ACCIDENTS ROUTES

 
Rides and Events

All rides (weekly and weekend) start at 8:30, except as may be noted for a specific ride. Rides average two hours for 30 miles, plus or minus both time and distance depending on the ride leader and group preference. Rides include water breaks as needed and a short rest break.

 

Helmets are required, headsets are prohibited, and please carry identification and emergency contact information.

 

TUESDAYS

Rotonda Community Park. Meet at Rotonda Community Park, 100 Rotonda Blvd East, Rotonda, FL 33947. Available ride leaders select the route, pace, and distance.

Nokomis Beach.  Meet at Nokomis Beach parking lot at end of Albee Road. Available ride leaders select the route, pace, and distance. Rides may include breakfast stop mid-ride at First Watch in Sarasota, or post ride repast at nearby restaurants such as Pop's Grill or Capt. Eddie's. Will be discussed prior to ride.

8:00 am. Snowbird season only. Meet in parking lot behind McDonalds on Bird Bay Drive (US 41 Bypass/Bird Bay Drive). Pace is 16-18 mph for 40-50 miles. Includes optional Honore sprint, breakfast option at First Watch in Sarasota, or brunch near Venice ride start.
