Withlacoochee TRAIL RIDE 2008

Who?        CCBC Members and guests
What?       Annual trip to ride the Withlacoochee State Trail
When?      March 5-7  - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

The Withlacoochee State trail is a 46-mile-long Rails-to-Trails project - 12 feet wide, asphalt surface, scenic and well-marked.  It lends itself to individual choices of speed and distance, so there truly is something for everyone.  Our trip is very informal, completely flexible, and a lot of fun.  Come join us!!

We will headquarter at the Central Motel, which is located adjacent to the trail in Inverness, FL.   Non-smoking rooms are being held by Wanda Short for CCBC members for the nights of March 5-6.  Call (352)726-4515 or (800)554-7241 as soon as possible for a reservation, & mention that you are with the Coastal Cruisers. Inverness is located approximately 2 1/2 hours from Venice. Take I-75 north to exit 314 (old 63), go west on Rte. 48, then north on US-41.  The Central Motel is at 721 S. US-41, Inverness. Camping is available in the area.
